Download the Be Social app for Android
The Android app is a free download from our own website. Open besocial.bd/download/besocial.apk in your phone browser, or tap the download button on besocial.bd. The file is an APK, the standard package Android uses to install an app.
Always download it from besocial.bd. A copy forwarded in a chat group or posted on another site may be old or may have been changed, so the official link is the only one to trust.
How to install the APK, step by step
Installing takes about a minute. Because the app is not coming from an app store, Android asks a couple of extra questions the first time.
- Open besocial.bd/download/besocial.apk in your usual browser.
- When the download finishes, tap the file in your notifications or your Downloads folder.
- If Android asks, allow your browser to install apps, then go back.
- Tap Install, then Open.
- Sign up with a Bangladeshi phone number or an email address, or log in if you already have an account.
Using Be Social on an iPhone
There is no iPhone app yet. On an iPhone or iPad, open besocial.bd in Safari or any other browser and log in. Your feed, profile, Messenger, Haat-Bazaar, Pages and the video editor are all there in the browser, so you can post, chat and watch without installing anything.

On a computer: the full website
On a laptop or desktop, go to besocial.bd in any browser. A bigger screen is handy for writing a long post, running the Page for your shop, or trimming a video before you share it.
You can also go live from a computer, either with your webcam or with streaming software, using the server URL and stream key that Be Social gives you.

The whole app works in Bangla or English, and you can switch any time. Light and dark mode are both there, so late-night scrolling is easier on the eyes.
